Distinctive Features of OS Giken Multi Plate Clutches
Despite using smaller plate diameter, OS Giken clutches achieve efficient power transmission, along with better engine response. Revising the factory leverage mechanism of the diaphragm spring provides higher pressure on the clutch discs while reducing pedal effort. Ventilation holes are designed to reduce heat generated inside the clutch housing. These holes also let friction plate dust out of the clutch system, increasing reliability and safety. The OS Racing Clutch friction plates are made of heat-treated metal. These materials are carefully selected and alloyed so that the plates match with the flywheel and center plate material to improve durability.

The origin of Swift Springs
Swift springs were founded in 1997. Swift Springs is the motor sports division of the Tokyo Hatsujo Spring Corporation. This was founded in 1924.
The purpose was to demonstrate our superior engineering in spring by developing the next generation of motor sports suspension coil springs. They had to have the best characteristics of any brand or design in the market, which required the springs to be the lightest in weight and most durable, and to exhibit the most linear characteristics while still being cost effective.
Since the formation of Swift, it has been lead by the former racer and suspension expert, Kei Yokota, and the chief engineer, Yasu Saito.
Their first-hand involvement within the race industry has propelled Swift quickly through the ranks of some of the world’s most reputable races.
Swift springs quickly became one of the most recognized and respected name in performance coil springs in many genre of motor sports throughout the world.
Being a part of the Tokyo Hatsujo spring corporation. Swift has a large collection of engineering research and development resources. Tokyo Hatsujo springs are used in most light to heavy industries and the dynamic has provided Swift with most advanced spring technologies and innovations available.
In Swift’s impressive motor sports history dated back to 1998, first was with Nissan Skyline GT-R in the Super Taikyu Endurance championship series in Japan. Then Swift got involved with the championship teams in Le Mans 24hrs, Nurburgring 24hrs, Super GT (JGTC), Super Taikyu series, D-1 World Grand Prix, F3, F3000, Formula Toyota, and many other world class races.
In 2004, Team Goh Audi R8 won 1st place at the world renowned Le Mans 24hrs race on swift springs.

Innovation, Research and Development

How it all began - a brief history
The love of motor sport was the start of the success story for this family run business in Weil am Rhein, southern Baden. Eckart Wossner raced motorcycles, up to 500cc, during the 1970's and enjoyed a degree of success on the national circuit. He is well known as a totally committed, but fair, sportsman. Between 1984 and 1995 Wossner were the sole distributor in Germany for an American piston manufacturer. In 1994 Wossner began producing their own range of high performance pistons. Their motto - "Our customers success is the root of our success" - is what has made Wossner GmbH the experts for high performance pistons. The successful development of the company required a new premises for 2003 - four times the size of the previous one.
